Hello, my name is Michael Edwards, and I’ve had the privilege of being an art teacher for the past 32 years. My passion lies in both creating art and sharing the process of its creation with others. My primary mediums are photography, digital drawing and painting, and graphic design. I enjoy experimenting with various subjects and genres, constantly seeking new ways to visually express ideas.

Recently, I’ve ventured into the world of tattooing, and I’m working with some amazing artists at Believers Ink in Riverview, Florida. Learning this new medium has been an exciting journey, and I embrace the mindset of being a lifelong apprentice. “Palawan” is the Star Wars term for apprentice, and I truly believe I will always be one, never stopping in my pursuit of learning and growth.

On a personal note, I’ve been married to my wife, Lisa, for over 30 years. She’s been a constant source of support in all my artistic endeavors. Lisa was also a highly successful real estate agent in the greater WNY area and now an intregralnpart of the Sumner HS staff. Together, we have two wonderful children: our daughter, Halle, who is an incredible orchestra teacher, and our son, AJ, a talented graphic designer.
